Welcome to the website of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Sale, the window to Catholic Education in Gippsland.

 

Our diocese, which stretches from the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne right across Gippsland, has 33 primary schools and 7 secondary schools within its boundaries.  These schools meet the educational needs of approximately 15,000 young men and women.

 

Our Catholic schools consistently perform above state average on all performance bench marks – though we are always looking to improve in every aspect.

 

Our Catholic schools are open to all who appreciate and share our Christian vision for the better world.  Any educational system must be based on a set of values and beliefs about humanity and society.  In Catholic schools the good of the human person is at the centre of all we do.  We believe that this good is to be found nowhere more clearly than in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
